Temryuk and Kavkaz in January-September 2008
During the first 9 months 2009 cargo turnover of Temryuk and Kavkaz (including the raid handling of Tamansky and ferry crossing of “Anroskrym”) grew by 25% - up to 7 185.5 thousand tons. In the period under report the port of Temryuk handled 1735.9 thousand tons. It is a 81.9% plus over the last year same period result. This result was achieved due to the coal handling increase via the berths of Sotra-Port (by 3.9 times).
The Kavkaz port decreased its handling by 2.3% – to 1 961.4 thousand tons. The reason of the decrease is a drop in oil products (-10.3%) and fertilizers (-49.2%) handling.
In January-September the rail ferry crossing handled 1 5076.9 thousand tons of cargoes (-2.9%). Oil products handling fell by 16.7%.
Tamansky handled 1 980.29 thousand tons (+97.4%). There was handled 1 246.9 thousand tons of brimstone (+24.3%).
